Educating Service Members in a Joint Environment

I work in a unit that is comprised of service members from every military branch possible. We all work side-by-side every day but I don't think that there are all that many that appreciate just how different each branch is from the next. We all do things in different ways, have different ranks and terminology for things. With that said, it is imperative that we take the time to learn as much as we can about our brothers and sisters in arms so as to not disrespect or offend anybody. With that said, my question is, has anybody ever conducted or attended classes geared toward bridging the gap between branches and educating service members on the traditions and differences between each branch? I sat down with my supervisor and expressed my concern for the lack of respect or education of the workings of other branches and he tasked me with building a continuity binder with tabs for each branch to be filled with anything and everything you could possibly need to know about (insert branch) in one central location. Thoughts?
