Soldiers assigned to deploying units: Unless extending/reenlisting, Soldiers whose ETS dates is less than 6-months from latest arrival date (LAD) will not deploy with the unit and will be involuntarily separated up to 12-months prior to contractual ETS date.
Soldiers assigned to inactivating units: Unless extending/reenlisting, Soldiers with an ETS date between inactivation and inactivation +365 days will be involuntarily separated from the Army up to 12-months prior to contractual ETS.

Taking the down sizing serious... I hope that they killed the merc contracts before resorting to this.

I have to wonder if they will make these SM's pay back bonuses.
I've seen it before. The Army decides to cut the enlistment short, involuntarily, for whatever reason, then takes bonus money back
