I have two soldiers who are ETS during our deployment. They are both REFRAD but don’t know what kind of discharge they will receive. Any advice or regulation would be appreciated. The soldiers in question do not have misconduct charges or anything of the sort.

Why are they deployed? My units would normally have them as Rear Det, cause it is going to cost to get them back before the unit returns.. If no trouble, then they should go out with an Honorable.

Sergeant Major, the service members were supposed to re-enlist in country. One did, however the unit coded him as the wrong MOS and did not attempt to correct it until 20 days prior to ETS.

They should receive the same type of discharge they would have received at their home station.
