WARNING!: STRONG LANGUAGE!

From: Stolen Valor on YouTube
--
This video was sent to us by a lady out of the Reno, Nevada area. This guy was walking around pretending he was a Marine. When asked for his name he responded that, "He was on High Alert, and couldn't give that out."

He then said he was a member of the 3rd Battalion, 26th Marines, which have been deactivated sine 1970. The Marines do have a 26th MEU(Marine Expeditionary Unit), but it doesn't have a 3rd Battalion.
He was trying to get a discount on or a free venue for his wedding using the claims.

I am really bothered by her cussing this man out! I believe the man has some kind of mental illness but he may just be drunk or nervous because he was caught in a lie! No need to cuss him out she could have been attacked! If you're going to confront a stolen valor fine but don't place your self in a situation that you may get hurt!

These idiots that film themselves challenging the mentally ill need to get a life! Once that man opened his mouth it was obvious what he was all about. Perhaps, we need to start challenging these people who post themselves online doing this! I never really cared if someone wore the uniform. I know I wore uniform jackets when I was young. I probably never would have enlisted had some self righteous ass had done this to me.

If infact this man is ex military, possibly having some sort of episode, this woman whom seems to be trying to get her 15 minutes, and admitted of not being in the service, should not be confronting anybody, because PTSD is a bitch. I'm not happy about these pretenders, either. Maybe stricter off post uniform rules, like they used to have, such as not wearing field uniforms off post. Go back to wearing your class A, B or blues out if you need to advertise. In my opinion, it's getting ridiculous, for both the fakers and the accusers.

He claims he’s on high alert, but she’s obviously high, period.
