WARNING!: STRONG LANGUAGE!

From: Stolen Valor on YouTube
--
This video was sent to us by a lady out of the Reno, Nevada area. This guy was walking around pretending he was a Marine. When asked for his name he responded that, "He was on High Alert, and couldn't give that out."

He then said he was a member of the 3rd Battalion, 26th Marines, which have been deactivated sine 1970. The Marines do have a 26th MEU(Marine Expeditionary Unit), but it doesn't have a 3rd Battalion.
He was trying to get a discount on or a free venue for his wedding using the claims.

Thanks for posting this video, it exposes fake wannabes! Some brothers I served with in the Marine Corps, and myself are so offended by this joker! He needs an old fashion ass whooping, follow up with some serious psychological help

Do you beat a mentally ill or retarded person for acting like a fool? It's pretty clear that's what is going on with this guy. If he appeared to be sane, then it would be offensive.

Whenever someone does this, the appropriate branch of the military should give them assistance. By assistance, I mean give them a free deployment overseas. Let's see how that will float their boat! Hooah!

There was something totally wrong with this video and it was recorded vertically. The lady who took the recording should have used her smart phone in a horizontal position to record.

Um.. He's lucky I wasn't there. Never disrespect my uniform. The guy either had mental problems or was a tweeker. I am glad she called him out on it. Even if he was a Marine, he would know that we are never allowed to wear our uniforms off base unless authorized.

If he was a vet, which I doubt he is, he would be entitled to wear it, though hopefully less drunk and disheveled. He was clearly whack, so let him be. SCOTUS has ruled he can dress that way if he wants. Just goes to show that even crazy people want to be Marines. Wait, or is it all people who want to be Marines are crazy? Yeah, I think that's it, we Marines are all a bit crazy.

Sgt Joseph Baker - even if he were a vet if he was a real Marine he still would never have worn it in public ! it's a Marine thing. i still have all of my stuff from back in the 70's and i don't wear any of it but my Dog tags. just out of respect.of the uniform it self. he could wear any dress uniform in public he want's to but never a work uniform. it disrespect's all before him and after that has worn it.

I still have my dress uniforms, don't fit like they did. My cammies were worn out long ago. If he was a Marine, I would tell him he needs to get his act together because he was making a fool of himself. But I think he is just a nut.

I say let Marines worry about fake Marines. A civilian making a big show like she did is kind of ridiculous, even if you have family and friends who are vets. If it was my wife, I'd whisper in her ear that the guy is nuts and not to degrade herself by ranting like that in public.

If it were my wife, and she had lost me, I would want her to honor my memory by just being the class act she is. And she would pity this poor soul. But, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I respect where you're coming from brother.
