This video was sent to us by a lady out of the Reno, Nevada area. This guy was walking around pretending he was a Marine. When asked for his name he responded that, "He was on High Alert, and couldn't give that out."
He then said he was a member of the 3rd Battalion, 26th Marines, which have been deactivated sine 1970. The Marines do have a 26th MEU(Marine Expeditionary Unit), but it doesn't have a 3rd Battalion.
He was trying to get a discount on or a free venue for his wedding using the claims.

All one needs do is ask him a few questions...[1] where did he go to bootcamp..Answer: either MCRD San Diego or Parris Island [2] what was his bootcamp platoon number..Answer...a Marine NEVER forgets that one. Then ask him his serial number. Answer...Every Marine knows that one, also.

Agreed. This looks more like this guy has mental issues. She did not handle it very well, on top of being incredibly shrill. It really looked like she was trying to make herself look important, rather than calling out Stolen Valor.

All these individuals should be turned in to the police, this lady while courageous was also very ignorant in what she did, she's lucky she got away with her life. This guy definitely had a mental problem.

Maybe the 26th has a C4 platoon where everyone calls themselves asshole and salute each other with their pants around their ankles and a thumb up their dumb asses. All the hilarity aside I agree with Col John on this one and think she should have just called the police to do their job to decide whether or not to charge this guy or bring him to the closest mental hospital

Not approving of her language toward this guy and certainly not approving of the wearing of this uniform but he does seem a bit loose between the ears and Regarding her attitude, I believe she mentioned the death of her infantry friends, which if this was the case I think we should cut her the same slack we are cutting the pretender, perhaps more so. Just a thought.

I am very much disturbed as to who has the authority to question anybody about anything in a democratic society, social media did not give assholes the right to do so. Military style..... police yourself before you police others This stolen valor crap has gone too far
