I am currently a direct commission applicant. I e mailed OMPM to ask when the acceptance list would be released. Their answer was, “After February.” Is this likely this mean some time in February or could it potentially mean as far out as eternity?

If you haven't figured out how bureaucracies work after a few years in the military, then you aren't paying attention ☺.
Selection boards often have to go through a lengthy "post-selection" review to ensure that there aren't issues with who was selected and to staff the selection board recommendations up through leadership for approval.
So February is probably when your selection board is adjourning and "After February" is however fast the speed of bureaucracy works for your direct commissioning process (there are multiple direct commissioning programs with their own process).

Interesting. Thank you for the feedback sir.
Side question:
I logged into the G1 Gateway. In the promotions tab and under “direct commission candidate” it says, “yes.” As far as you know if this a default of any kind or is this possibly indicative of my DC application.

SPC (Join to see) - I noticed that you indicated in another post that it's been that way for at least a month, so likely it is as stated. You are a candidate for direct commision (i.e., you're being evaluated for being a direct commision).

I'm gonna be blunt here. If they say "After February" then that means AFTER the month of February. Not during. After. As in, March at the earliest. It does NOT mean eternity. It means that at some point, AFTER FEBRUARY, the list will be released. So, I recommend you chill and Charlie Mike until the list is released. Otherwise you are going to stress yourself out for no reason.

Two things I observed. From the moment I dropped my packet to the time I pinned 2LT was 18 months. Next, you are probably going to be notified in some way before a public list of selectees is widely available.
If the list itself is your first source of data for the selection results then you are probably not on that list.
