For all the CMF 25 NCOs out there...with the E7 promotion board creeping up, how do you think promotions will look this year?

It does in such a way that the 25Ds have taken some of the 25B slots throughout the force, thereby decreasing our promotion numbers.

SSG Claude Pinner Yeah, that kind of sucks. I heard a little bit of this, My son is a 25B and is waiting on point for E-5... look like 990 never. He is looking at getting out as opposed to staying in. I just didn't know how far down the chain that change would affect everything.

Yeah...25B is looking like a dead-end MOS for the near future. If I were your son, I would look to jump ship to a different MOS, if possible.

SSG Claude Pinner Yeah, I think he has decided to jump ship all together and ETS instead of staying in. it's his 1st Enlistment and to him the college money is calling his name. He wants to write code for either MS or Treyarch.
