For those currently overseas or those who were overseas, what are your questions on AFN TV or Eagle Radio Programming?

I never tried accessing it over roshan data, but for the most part it's been irrelevant over a couple deployments. Exception being the 2013 Super Bowl on a small cop in AF. More relevant and downloadable content when we hit big fobs. Not everyone is a dodger fan but I am. I'd love to be able to watch kershaw without paying for mlb stuff even on a week delay. Keep striving. I know it's a challenge.

I think the #1 question is "Why are there so many interruptions to my music/entertainment?"
This is especially true when the commercials are extra corny or just laughable.

We break up the programming mostly because of the lineup of music tempo change. But one of our primary jobs is to provide what's important to the command team at that time (command information). Commercials are "corny" because we do our own and we don't use actual actors to provide those commercial breaks on both TV and Radio. While we are trained to be on the radio/tv, we allow Soldiers and civilians to record those radio spots. Majority of the breaks are done by your BOSS reps (E1 - E-4s) and Garrison Safty Offices personnel.

SFC (Join to see) - Thanks for the clarification. One request I do have about commercials is playing the actual commercial (or a youtube delay if you can't stream live) during the Superbowl.

Our policies and procedures do not allow us to play any commercial that is trying to sell something. We have a strict agreement with Hollywood, NFL, NBA, ect... that we would not run commercials. Commercials are their to help pay for that TV station's airtime and ours is free as long as we obey the ground rules. Thanks.

I can't speak to what we use to air. The fact that you used SP4 let's me know that was way before my time. We do try to keep our internal programming relevant to the times. Thanks for your question.
