For those that suffer from PTSD, have you received a SGB shot?

I am asking this as I have been part of a clinical trial that utilizes this technique. It is a shot in the neck, between the C6 and C7. It has wonderful results and I believe the VA is getting interested in doing more. Ask your provider if they know about it. http://www.militarytimes.com/story/military/2014/11/19/stellate-ganglion-block-ptsd-treatment/19230151/

I know they have done them in Long Beach, and they may be looking for volunteers in other areas.

I received the SGB injection about 1 year ago. I was more suicidal than I have ever been, the only thing that was keeping me vertical is my responsibility to my wife and kids. I read an article about the SGB injection that had details about the Doctor who pioneered the use of SGB to treat Post-traumatic Stress. I contacted his office and they arranged all of the details regarding travel and treatment. In fact the doctor whose name is Dr. Eugene Lipov helped found a non-profit charitable foundation so that active duty and veterans can get the SGB treatment at little to no cost to the veteran. I have not had even one nightmare or flashback since receiving the injection. I am also free of paranoia and able to release stress instead of having it build up unendingly. Ive received 4 SGB injections to date. I hear the second and third have even more effect. I would recommend getting a second one if able. Like you I have seen a dramatic difference. The last one hurt really bad, a lot more than the previous ones as the doctor was new to the process so I'm going to relax on them. I've also started the Alpha Stem treatment which has also helped immensely.

Ive received 2 of them and scheduled to receive a third. I have had great success with it. I would highly recommend it if you experience severe aggression. From my understanding its supposed to reset your fight and flight mode. My fight mode gets triggered very easily and therefore it allows my brain to reassess situations before going into attack mode.

A1C Doug Towsley - I first learned about it from a group therapy session of all SF guys. Most if not all were already receiving them so I jumped on board and saw a huge difference right away.
