There is an abundance of free or low cost IT training out there. Microsoft Virtual Academy has video tutorials for learning IT. Coursera, Udemy, Udacity, and many others provide low cost IT training. Just consider an IT goal, and go for it!

If you want a real good history of the evolution of computers - Coursera has one. I took it, I thought it was very good.
