For those who attended online college to obtain their degree, which was the best school to attend and get accreditation from?

I am looking to study online at an institution which would allow me to obtain my Bachelor's in Child and Family Counseling - I was looking to attend the University of Phoenix however their are mixed feelings about their programs and accreditation. Also, Penn State but my assistance would barely cover the programs and classes I would need to take.

Peru State University (Nebraska State University System). They took all of my military credits. I only had to matriculate for my degree. They are reasonably priced and no proctored exams...

Oregon State University or Arizona State University. I found OSU economical and relevant, but the standard 16 week semesters did not work for my schedule. Your degree will not reference distance learning; it will simply state Oregon State University.

Great advice. ASU has shorter 10 week courses and the diploma also doesn't reference online courses.

Full disclosure statement. I completed a BS in Business Management with Phoenix this summer, doing a combination of traditional and online classes. I have been in the same position for almost a decade, then within two months of getting my BS from UoP I was offered and accepted a promotion. I applied for many promotions through the years, but this is the first offer. Not saying there is causality, but maybe some correlation. Depending upon what you are trying to accomplish, it may not make much of a difference.

I would start with your major and see who offers what you want to take, then I would look at the available choices and compare convenience, cost, and accreditation. I attended the University of Pittsburgh so Pedophile Supporter Univ PSU never made my list I also took classes online that transferred through AMU. There are a bunch of school that offer online degrees now. Even Harvard but the costs are pretty high in the Ivy League.

Phenix and Strayer are good but Tough, University of Maryland is also good if they are still in the business...

What state are you currently living in? Are there any on-line degrees offered through a state school?
I did not attend University of Phoenix due to there extremely lax entry requirements! AIU is a better choice but will cost more than a state school.
After I paid monster amounts in tution to attend AIU and graduate with a BBA, The state colleges in my area started offering online classes. My timing was off by 20 months. Please look into a state school, where you're located, for an online degree.

Liberty University. They have quality programs, national accreditation, military discount, and very reasonable tuition (less than half the cost of University of Phoenix).
