Granted, she did get fined $10,650 to pay to the victims family, and has to register as a sex offender, however, considering other cases you have heard about in the past coupled by what we've learned through endless hours of military training, what are your thoughts on her sentence; Do you think it was an appropriate sentence? If not, what do you think she should have received? If yes, why do you think she received the sentence she did? And as far as I can recall, I don't ever recall a sentence such as this for the sexual assault/misconduct/rape of a minor...

Jared Fogel is going to prison for a sexual relationship with a minor, and he's not doing just weekends. Give her the same treatment.

I don't think this was a fair, or appropriate, sentencing and truth be told had this been a man and a little girl, his behind would have been UNDER the jail house. Again, when you look at the history, same violation receive different sentences and seem to be based more on the sex of the molester, or their position in society, in most of these cases.

Just another example of the double standards in our society.

MSgt (Join to see) I tend to agree to a point, as sometimes it turns into a triple standard when wealth or status of position is involved... Male or female...

Agreed. More money, more power less consequences.
