This is just for some laughs

What was your call sign or nickname while in and how did you get it...

Mine was Wreck It Ralph, due to I actually broke a GSA Safe that ended up needing to be drilled to get it open.

Barnyard. A rough corruption of my last name, which was ensured to stick when one of the guys said, "Barnyard's so redneck he takes a little country with his country," referring to my music tastes.

My dad also carried the same moniker when he was in the service.

As a tactical assignment/air battle director, Sierra Pete. In the air "Cindy" because I got to go to the ball. And yes, I still have 1 glass slipper. In civilian life, "Crash" from the first attempt to drive a city bus, end of shift, caught the bumper....I never had another fender bender but forever I remain "Crash."

In BCT it was "Ramhole" because I was Platoon Guide and took no BS from the guys, my yearbook is full of those guys ribbing me.

In Korea I got the name "Hawkeye" because I mixed a mean drink!

Sober now (24 years!) so no nicknames...
