I just discovered an error with my awards that was overlooked by myself, S1 and my SR. My DA photo shows me with two ARCOM's, but my ORB and OMPF only depict one. I have two, and could have sworn that my ORB/OMPF registered two. Did I just screw myself for promotion? Other than that, i have great evals, assignments and nothing derogatory on my record. Is there anything I can do?

Start by finding the documents that awards you each ARCOM, and go see your S-1. As for the DA photo, you are only permitted one medal of each see AR-670, also if I am right of only wearing one medal, re-take tour DA photo ASAP, if it show you have two of the same, because that will hurt you more, because a photo says 1000 words about you.

send a letter to Board And explain what had happened has the board convened yet?

How soon does your board convene? If your photo is correct, but your ORB is wrong, go to your S1 and get your ORB corrected (must bring copies of your awards to do so). If you let them know it's for a board, they will fix it ASAP.

Find your DA Form 638 for both awards. Make sure you take them to your personnel specialist adapt. They need to be permed right away.

We as an Army have some issues if what is on a ribbon verses ORB causes you to be a non-select. The board will focus more on your sr rater comments than your ARCOM and you already know their comments.

As sad as it might sound under current circumstances the most minuscule item could hinder a Soldier's board. Way too much buffoonery going on with the force reduction.

You need to go fix your OMPF while this is still fresh in your mind. this is why you can't blow off your board file or just randomly sign it.

It probably won't hurt you, but it is one of those attention to detail kinda things that can be used as a discriminator against you.
