Earned it so I use it. It's a process one must abide with, but they have not let me down since 98. Thanks for your support.

Sometimes getting world class care is putting your like at risk. Yet, to be honest, most VA care is ok.

Only applies if you can present proof in the form of medical records. If your records are lost not through your fault, you’ll need to hire an attorney to challenge the BA in court to receive compensation for presumptive claims based on again written proof of your assignments and locations during the times the presumption cites.

As MSG Lambert stated, you might very well need a lawyer to help you out if your health records are missing. If possible, try to make copies of all your medical records including sick call. You may need them one day. CYA!! Several years ago while on sick call I was instructed by an Army Doctor to get copies of my medical records prior to turning them back over to the clerk. A lot of paperwork to have, but we’ll worth it.
A friend of mine told me that he received good legal assistance through the Wounded Warrior program.

Hard to get benefits when 20 years of medical records are missing. Only have 2 years out of 22 years. My last two after returning from the first Gulf War. Might need a lawyer to pursue presumptive causes for medical conditions exacerbated by years of non-treatments.
