Shingles vaccine: Should I get it?
People who are age 50 and older should get the shingles vaccine to prevent shingles.

Shingles does not have the bad outcomes that flu does but if you want to be uncomfortable, don't get the shingles vaccine. I plan to get the shingles vaccine ASAP (still a youngster at 48).
