Debbie Pomeroy Cloud Great post. Some folks need to understand that if they have discipline and determination, they can set goals and accomplish their heart's desire. I have absolutely no use for protestors. Work hard with integrity instead of disrespecting others by blocking roads, setting fires, destroying property, rioting, and generally being a pain in the ass.

Every time I talk with a SJW activist it reminds me of every conflict I've had with my relations.
It always boils down to the doer being pressured to provide to the professional victim.
And as I've said in the past. I'll help anyone who is helping themselves, but I won't do expletive for anyone who is doing nothing.
Years ago I had 3 or 4 classmates I was tutoring and I told them that as long as they were putting forth the effort that I would be there to help them. And when one of them did nothing but self pity and ask why he needed to learn that bs stuff (btw he works in QC for aviation now, enjoy) I dropped him. Because quite frankly it is my time to. And if I am going so spend my time on someone, I expect them to be focused on self improvement.

All skills are required to get the mission done. Each person bringing these skills at their highest level brings value to the table as long as that person is giving their all.

-self accountability. I don't care so much if someone lies to the world, but there is no way to make life plans if you lie to yourself about your starting place.
-Proactiveness, Taking steps every day to meet your goals. Taking measures every day to improve your situation.
-Respect for the system, This is one that gets me, now I'm no lawyer just so that is said. But between federal service and a hitch in the navy, I am aware that we live in a society with a structure of laws and ignorance to them is not an excuse, As a digital artist I see more artists now going out of their way to remain ignorant of the law because they feel that will give them some protection.
