Don’t quit. Don’t self assess. Do your very best in everything while pacing yourself. Treat other candidates like you would like them to treat you. Peer evaluations are heavily weighed. Good luck.

Don't be a kiss ass, don't complain, be steady, know what you should do & do it, be confident (not arrogent), and do not take counsel of your fears.

Physically, mentally demanding course- you don't have to be the strongest or the smartest, but you have to carry on when too tired to go further.

Expect to suck and be in pain. You're going to run on little food, little sleep, and little notice for anything. The Cadre will always know where you are and what you're doing. Just because you can't see them does not mean they can't see you. When it comes time for Team Week, show out when its your time to lead, and be a team player when it isn't. Follow all orders and instructions to the letter as quickly and efficiently as possible and DO NOT try to cut corners or cheat your way through a task. Remember, the Cadre out there have just about seen everything and they will know when you did the wrong thing.
But expect to have fun and take on an experience like nothing you've ever experienced before. Because even if you don't get Selected, you're gonna have a whole new set of goggles to look through, and a better understanding of what the bare minimum is for our elite. You'll come back with a new outlook either way. And if you DO get Selected, you'll start down a road like no other and you'll work your way to a Brotherhood that doesn't exist anywhere else in the world. Best of luck to you. Truly. Because I watched my old man and more than a few of my buddies take that road (my time is coming, I'm just not ready yet) and when they came out the other side, they were on a whole new level of different.

Just do your best bro. Don't look for any advice. You're either ready mentally and physically or your not. Just go with the intentions of performing your very best. The only person your are going against is yourself. Good luck. You'll need it.
