Going to the Marine Corps Ball as a guest; my shoulders may not be covered so what is appropriate-Opera gloves or wrap covering shoulders?

I think a wrap is more practical and comfortable. My wife unusually goes wrap. Opera gloves just don't look practical.

No matter what, cover the shoulders. If your escort is an officer wear gloves if enlisted you can skip the gloves.
