Group is gunning for small town's veteran memorial cross. Why did this person make a complaint? So tired of this PC BS.

MAJ Bryan Zeski - Maybe i missed something---but if you have this removed because someone objects doesn't it follow that all will be removed from military cemeteries because a few object to it?

SSgt Terry P. - The point isn't really to remove the memorial - it's to either make an inclusive memorial that respects all faiths - not just Christianity. However, it is better to have NO memorial than to have one that promotes one faith over another. The cross hasn't been and shouldn't be removed from cemeteries as long as those cemeteries are also respecting the faiths of the other interred members - not just Christians.

Being a rabbi, I'm not happy about many government expressions of religion, but this does not bother me - there is a very long standing tradition of religious markers on soldiers (all troops) who are religious...
