I'm in the process of creating a broad professional development program for the next 10 years or so and I'm considering pursuing an Executive MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare in 5 years or so, as it can aid in my transition to the managerial side of healthcare when the time comes. A lot of the more well regarded programs are pretty pricy so I have to make the decision quickly whether to continue funding my wife's grad school through my post 9/11 or if I should save it for my own schooling. Has anyone attended an Executive MBA program mid career? Was it worth the monetary and time investment? I'm especially interested to hear from folks in the healthcare field.

You might seriously want to consider an interservice xfer to USPJS, they have spots for both PT (I'm assuming youre DPT level, as is most of PT now), as well as health admin and health info mgmt (HIM)....

I'm not suggesting nth is as a panacea, omltmnecause its relative cheap, for admin and exam fees only, http://www.uopeople.edu, they're not exactly free, however, they're online, were endorsed by themVaitcan of late, and are accredited by DETC (formerly NHSC) in the US, which, while not regionally accredited, as I'd said, is, at least, basically Federally recognized. They have only limited assoc and bachnprogs, comp sci, health sci, and nus admin, however, what might interest you is that they do have an MBA program. Honestly, I don't know if the svcs, VA, or industry accept them yet, however, I just thought I'd mention it, though it's obv not a panacea, I entirely realize that, I'll send this, ten try to send more with other ideas.
