I have both an Associate and a Bachelor degree from Excelsior (mine was when it was known as Regent's College, Univ. of the State of New York). It's a fully accredited school, and was accepted by the law schools I applied to. I know of at least two alumni who got their law degree from Harvard after completing their undergrad at Excelsior.

People who have attended Excelsior include:

SMA Daniel Daily
MCPON Joe Campa, Jr.
MCPOCG Charles Bowen
LG Edward Baca
MG Joseph Taluto
Gilbert King, 2013 Pulitzer Prize winner
DeWayne Walker, DB coach, Cleveland Browns

It will depend on what you make of it.

I got both my BS and MS through Excelsior. They offered more credit for both past college experience as well as life experience and military experience so it was a no-brainer. If time management is a strong skill of yours, I'd recommend it. If not, stay away from the online schools and plant yourself in a classroom where you don't have to worry about it. For me, having a full time job, leadership position in the Guard and attending school full time, EC was a good fit.

I'm currently attending Excelsior Colledge now going for a bachelors in Psychology its a good school. Although i agree with LTC Mackay it all depends on what your going for in terms of a degree and field your trying trying to break into. Whats your major?
