What can be expected of the school? And what can I prepare for? I have found the NCOA's website and packing list, but would like to get as much information as possible before my report date in January.

SGT Blevins,

Congratulations on your school date, because they are hard to get. First off you're going to great school. The instructors currently their are extremely knowledgable and helpful. The biggest thing getting Soldiers awkwardly enough is land nav. If you study you can't fail the test so don't blow it off. You will need to study for this course it's not just CTRL-F. I believe they are still doing peer-evals so be a team player and stay humble some people will test your patience and their common sense sadly enough. If you've been a squad leader it's a great refresher on the basics if not this is a great introduction and foundation in which to start from. Good luck!

SGT Blevins,

That's no problem at all. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Back in 1982 ... It may have changed a little since then.
