Two entertainment personalities that I really admire have landed in the news behind unflattering accusations. Unfortunately, after his project, The Passion of the Christ, Mel Gibson fell from Grace. The accusations against him stood firm. Chris Hardwick host of Talking Dead, the after show for the Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead has had some very bad press. He has been exonerated. I still love their talent. But it is awkward to know that their "total life" is messy.

On the close to home side, I have acquaintances, whereby, behind the doors mess surfaced. It hurt, but I told them I could not support them in their guilt because the innocent person deserved justice. For me, this type of situation is very conflicting and life changing.

Don't place to much faith in people. They will almost always disappoint. No one is perfect all you can hope is that they learn from the lesson, ask for forgiveness, are contrite, and turn away from their behavior. There are a lot of disappointments from Hollywood, politicians and other leaders that is why you cannot be overly invested in them.

Cpl Jeff N. I completely understand and have felt the crushing disappointment of seeing a person I placed on a moral pedestal throw me under the bus. :0(

When it is someone you know personally, the sense of betrayal is very real. I do not have high expectations for most people having seen, over the course of years, the depravity to which people can sink. Hope all works out for you.
