Has anyone had an issue with the financial aid at YC?

I was wondering if anyone else in this group who attends YC has had an issue with registering for classes. I tried to enroll for a late start Fall semester course, and every time I would register I was dropped for failure to pay. I then learned that you have to pay upfront before the grants kick in. I just got my Arizona residency so I get in state tuition, but it's still too expensive for me pay out of pocket and fund my trip. Any help with figuring out a way to take classes is greatly appreciated.
