I am looking to upgrade my home computer but I don't want to lose access to my commonly used Army websites and being able to digitally sign forms.

Thanks for the responses! I will be giving Windows 10 a shot this weekend and will report back on how well it worked for me.

I had some initial issues but the help desk got me through most of my issues. I can use Chrome for everything but email. I have to use IE for email and install the certificate when the option to select the certificate comes up.

Do not install Activclient for any reason. It isn't required and you WILL regret it.

I am going to go ahead and bite the bullet and upgrade everything to 10. Support will be ending for older versions, the free upgrade window won't last forever and progress marches forward with or without me. I decided to do it when I could set aside the time to get everything working rather than wait and be forced to at an inconvenient time.

I had some serious issues with it and also signing PDFs. Edge never worked for me. You can still use the old school browser on W10. I went back to W8.1. I am going to wait a bit longer till some of these issues are resolves. I just don't think the windows generic drivers are refined enough yet for daily use. I did like W10. It was faster and cleaner than W8.1. It is just a bit too new.

Has anyone had any issues with Army AKO, MyPay, Webmail and CAC reader drivers after upgrading to Windows 10?

I had the same experience as LCDR (Join to see) did. I'm using the new Microsoft Edge browser that comes with Win 10, MIE (Option remains), Google Chrome and Firefox. The only issue I've experienced is not being able to cut and paste on a few sites with Edge, but all of the others work fine on all of the sited I attempted to access. I only use MIE & Edge for government sites. It's a little slow, but when has any Microsoft browser ever been fast? Will admit, I haven't tried to digitally sign anything yet, so I think I'll give that a try over the next couple of days...

A lot of people have and I don't know if it is windows 10 specifically or just a coincidence. I had success when I tried multiple browsers and also when I used IE in compatibility mode.

I wouldn't upgrade to Windows 10. I don't use my personal desktop for Army related things, but after I upgraded to Windows 10, I wanted to go back to my previous OS.

Start menu wasn't working. Sound drivers didn't work. Some of my icons on my desktop didn't work.

Upgrading to new software just to get the latest and greatest is something I wouldn't recommend. Too many bugs.
