I recently applied for the VocRehab program (ch 31) to help me through my graduate degree ...which I need for the career I have chosen. Has anyone had any luck in getting a doctorate program funded with ch. 31 after the 36 months are used?

Yes it’s very helpful. I’m actually going to be transferring to a different region for graduate school as well. I am going to try my best. Thank you for your input.

From my experience, it depends. I used Voc Rehab for my Masters Degree and questioned the office about using it again for a terminal degree. In a nutshell, I was told that it depends solely on the office/case manager supporting your specific V/R program. Due to a geographic move, I transferred my Voc Rehab program between two different regions and had two different offices/case managers assigned. The first office told me that, if I could justify it they would support a terminal degree. The second office told me that they will not support any advanced degrees through Voc Rehab.

So, I know that is not real helpful but with a little googling there are some websites out there created by veterans that will help you/walk you through the process.
