Has anyone heard of getting treatment through the VA or any branch covering laser hair removal for those with shaving profiles?

From the research I found, Tricare doesn't pay for laser hair removal. Personally ive never had a profile but everyday shaving has always bothered my neck and ive never tried getting one. Has anyone heard of getting treatment through the VA or any branch covering it? Worst case, ill just pay for it civilian side. Neck shaving is always uncomfortable and never needed neck beard as a civilian anyway.

Should get that issue documented while your in.
Shaving profiles can net you 10% Service Connection once you are out.
Any medical related issue should be documented while you are in to ensure you don't get shafted if there are lasting issues.

yes. It's available but where you live the service may not be available thus you would have to travel. The VA needs to be able to be billed in units and not lump sums Also know that laser only works on dark hair this if you have white hair the only way to remove it is via electrolysis . The being able to bill in units is associated with electrolysis. How it is billed with laser is not known to me but I can check with a contact of mine to find out.
