Has anyone here attended support operations phase 2? What exactly is covered in the course and has it helped do your job better?

There are over 250 people who have been to the Support Operations course and 15 who have been to Phase II.

I have attended the course and I would say as support it just gives you a better understanding of our capabilities as an support element. Battle Staff is the course to have and with support operations it will only expand your knowledge all around.

Yes I have and no it doesn't but it's one of those courses people like you to have to hold the position.
The course is literally the same as PH1...
Seriously....

Thx for the response. I am currently working on phase 1 and would like to attend phase 2 later this year when the course comes to Bliss. I am not working in a SPO position however and don't want the class to be a waste of time to attend. Thx again.

If you can get PH2, go.
While literally "hands on" based on everything you did in PH1, it's at least a nice break from the unit.
SPO is definitely a broadening assignment though and it's even a better expeierience during combat operations.
But in the end, it wasn't worth fighting for the school (sorry)
