I did have trigger job done on mine wasn't too costly and made a lot of difference on reaction time and speed.I forgot to mention that.A local gunsmith did it same day I brought it and I gave him 50 bux because he wouldn't charge me lol

I have one no problems.I have the 45 too no problems I go to the range with them often.

Depends what your friend wants it for.
I have a PT111 9mm that I use as a CCW. It's a great light, low profile handgun, and it's been reliable.
For what it's intended to be used for, you can't go wrong.
If your friend is looking for something to use as a competition firearm, your friend won't be happy at all.
