Expect nothing, prepare for the worst, and go with the flow. only the DS can give you an answer for this when you arrive. Good Luck!!!

It's been a long time since I was there, but more than likely they make sure that they are disinfected and pass health inspection.

They are decent. And you should have privacy at best. Experience may differ however. I went back to AIT as an MOS-T for 31B, DS never messed with me- all they did was go to training, have the rest of the day and weekends off. No formation and PT was on my own.

I had basic (A-1-3) at “Fort Lost in the Woods” summer of ‘63. My company was 100% ER & NG. Our little chant on the way to the range was “If I had. Low IQ, I could be a RA too.” Anyway, two years later, I was on the “right” side. Mister Part-Time (NG) gone full time (RA).

If they’re anything like MOS-T barracks anywhere else you’ll get a nice memo from garrison command for your medical records confirming possible exposure to mold and asbestos.
