My husband is a SGT in the Army position 25S, currently deployed, and is putting in an application for WHCA. He is currently trying to find out if he is able to do this job for the remaining portion of his term (he hasn't decided if he is going to reenlist) he will have 35 months left on his contract when he returns from deployment. Can anyone answer this for us?

Good morning. How long did it take for them to notify you that you received the position? I applied in March

I am in the process of applying, was just wondering if anyone knows how the life of a 94E is in WHCA?

I can't really tell you all that much about what you guys do, just know you would probably be traveling a lot.

The U.S. Army plays a pivotal role in the field of Presidential communications support. They are the largest element in WHCA, having 56% percent of the authorized military positions, and 33% of the Army's total Signal MOS positions.

SFC Steven Borders - Thanks, brother. I've already applied and was told to re-apply around May or June since there were no slots available in my MOS at the moment.

Seems a lot of these focus on the active duty military, does anyone know of any programs open to National guard or reservists?

Yes, they are accepting National Guard and Reservists. But it is very limited from what I am told. They do need SATCOM guys that is for sure.
