I'm taking a class on user experience design and thought I'd do my final project doing a usability study of af.mil.

Shayna Blumenthal MBA, MS - You know that VA recently redid their website for userablity. That might be the study that shows success. all sorts of studies sat it is good.

Thank you! One of my biggest questions about af.mil is if people find the navigation overwhelming or easy to use, and if it's hard to find what they're looking for on the site.

I'd seen you were listed as being with the Soldier for Life program, which I'd known nothing about before seeing you'd listed it...I'm a total perm noncombat disabled, looking for something to do with my day, I have interest in career/educ stuff, and try to chat with others on here about such topics, purely out of interest...I've looked into the Army Volunteer Corps, I pasted in the website here, just as one of the things I'd looked at for something to do, where I thought I might perhaps be of some potential use...I'd called there, I gather their main offices are at Ft. Sam Houston, I think, I just never heard anything back...my wife and I are right near a fairly good sized relatively new Reserve Ctr. by us on Long Island, where there are apparently USAR, ARNG, USMCR, and and USNR, I'd tried to see if I could be of any use over there, I got basically nowhere, I'm afraid...I've got a reasonably fair exposure to a good deal of service and VA stuff, nothing formal, all anecdotal, though I also, before my disability, trained at several VA hospitals, I'd tried also to volunteer with Civil Air Patrol (CAP), USCG Auxiliary, JROTCs, Navy Sea Cadets, I was also 3 yrs Army ROTC with a unit that no longer exists, I'm life member AUSA, as well as numerous other vet groups...I just figured if you and/or those you might work with at Soldier for Life might possibly have any possible use for me, I'd certainly be most interested, I didn't know, I just figured I'd ask, purely out of curiosity...due to my disability, I'm quite restricted as to how I can seek to be involved with volunteer stuff, which I could explain in greater depth, of course, in case you and/or others might perhaps find any of my background of any possible use...as I'd said, I didn't know if there'd be any possible use you could make of me, it's just that sitting around the house all day going to waste obviously doesn't get it, not that chicken little the sky is falling, I'd just be most eager to know if you and/or the others you're involved might possibly have any conceivable use for me, that's all, honest, if you'd care to chat at all, I'd certainly be most eager to hear more anytime, whenever convenient, no rush, obviously, many thanks....
