Has anyone with a service disability that required steroid treatment gone back to the VA to increase their rating due to side effects?

I received Steroids when my COPD was in FULL bloom. That didn't help so we went to other options. One of them being Retirement and getting away from the smog of big cities..

I developed reactive airway disease after a supply clerk dropped and shattered a concentrated bottle of ammonia in the basement of an old German barracks building. The Docs at FT Sam tried to keep me athletic. Didn't work.

I ran the 26.2 mile Lakefront Marathon in Milwaukee. My 7th and final full Marathon. That evening I had odd feelings in my chest. The next morning I got Cold type symptoms, then the Flu, then later was diagnosed with Walking Pneumonia. I was like a fish out of water. They tried every color of Inhaler available. Steroids. Advair (Inhaling CHUNKS of drugs). I cannot tolerate humidity and still be able to function. Certain household chemicals send me crawling out of the room. Fucking sucks ASS. To this day, I still cannot be in a large city for more than 3 days without gasping for air. I can FEEL the chemicals from traffic in my damned lungs. Wanna kill me? Put me in a sauna for 5 minutes.

I'm and older PDRL guy that is now retired a second time for arthritis (SSDI). Because I took steroids for a service connected respiratory problem since 88 (on long and high does tappers) I have Docs thinking I exhibit all the bad symptoms.
