Rembember the bradley boondogle? Yep the one they made a movie about how badly it was mismanged? Well, it looks like they finally went looking for an actual scout APC, the one they wanted all along! https://taskandpurpose.com/military-tech/special-operations-armored-ground-mobility-system-program

SPC Joshua Bender I don't know about such things, but from reading the article it sure appears that our military is proactively looking to make our readiness as elite as possible.

Yes, it is as always, though what I was referencing was how the orignal Bradley design started out looking pretty much like what SOCOM is looking for in that article, but got turned into "Light scout tank" instead over decades of wasted spending and mismanagement. The movie "The Pentagon Wars" was pretty much hitting the nail on the head in how they depicted the program. Yea I saw the Bradley doing it's thing when I was in Iraq, and we lost a lot of them to IEDs, though thanks to later upgrades and improvements their survivablitily for crew wasn't too bad.
