YES! More specifically, I have been playing my phone gaming/apps a lot in the last 2 years with the ease of portability and no big need to be deep into a storyline, I play simulation driving and mentally challenging strategy to keep my mind as sharp as I can. Console stuff gets expensive and I hate the thought of wasting my hard-earned cash on something that will "Need" replacing as soon as another better one comes out... What's up with this Steam thing? Is it PC only?

Absolutely. Most days after a hard day at work in garrison, I'll come home and play Skyrim or Total War for an hour or so to unwind. Video games can be hugely therapeutic!

I do but try to in moderation. It is very easy to get lost in a game. I prefer sports and racing games. It is a fine line with my depression. If I play to long I get mad at myself. I try not to let it interfere with family time.

100%. It lets me escape reality way brtter than drugs and alchohol without the side effects. Minus the occasional "Fu#$in Bul#$%@!"

Even before I joined I decompressed via video games. Since my time at war, I enjoy facing FPS crisis situations via video games as it brings the critical decision moments back without any one being at risk of damage. Of course this has encouraged me to develop this joke:
I refuse to engage in any PvP activity as once you've done Person vs Person... Player vs Player brings back to many stressful memories.
