Question is should I claim it as secondary to hearing loss or tinnitus or something else - or just deal with it? Going to see a VA doctor in a couple of days.

What is the rating for tinnitus? Hope your dizziness gets better.

yes, tinnitus is rated at 10%. Suffering from it for over 30 years now. Sucks.

Until you have a diagnosis of the possible condition and whether it is temporary or not, a claim may be premature. Keeping in mind, of course, that it would take a "more likely than not secondary to..." determination by your physician.

Va sent me on an appointment to see a doctor for hearing test and I was diagnosis having tinnitus and could get hearing aids at cost out of pocket because I live in Germany which is not on American soil..100% dav do not help much here...va still rated me 0 after 12 years Field Artillery Mechanic. Va ask for a copy of my DD214 I highly think they know what it is...

Definitely mention it. Let the doc figure out what's going on.
