WTF is that? (I hear you cry). My sentiments, exactly. "It's the Tesla (electric car) killer", its proponents claim. They also claim "Electric cars are about to become a thing of the past." Well, if true, they should feel right at home. They were long ago relegated to the past.
Still, I was tempted to learn: Is Blue Gas the future of Green Energy?
You can Google it for yourself. There's plenty of information on the Internet pro and con. Personally, I dismiss Green Energy in general because so much dirty energy is required to create every form of clean energy thus far proposed (including Blue Gas). However, I am always open to having my mind changed...

While having a "smaller" carbon footprint compared to gas it still has a carbon footprint. And no idea how much more you have to burn to get the same HP out of an engine. May be a wash?

It depends on how you measure a "carbon footprint." I prefer to consider all wastes generated from the collection of the basic ingredients and their refinement, as well as that produced during their use. This is why wind and solar have far greater carbon footprints than their proponents are willing to admit...

Exactly the point I was wandering around. It's like electric anything. Solar Panels? How much carbon was utilized to dig it out, refine it, manufacture it, etc.
What I do like about solar is the one time cost - if they are built well. However, you lose too much, IMHO, converting to AC when 90% of everything in your house now-a-days converts the AC back to DC (think LEDs, computers, electronics of any sort actually). The house I am slowly designing would have a DC main bus running through the house. But that is off point. :)
