Take the time to salute via endorsement. I've got plenty, some of troops have none!

Date of Rank used to be a serious thing. Among the officer corps, West Point DOR was established first given them lead consideration for command and promotions, followed by other sources of commissions--ROTC (including Ivy League mil schools such as Norwich); Direct Commission /Battlefield Commission, OCS... Among NCOs the DOR was simply established first Alphbetically, later by "actual" number ranking for selection when points were awarded/boards centralized.... what does it mean today? Does is affect a RIF?

Yes sir! (CW5 Montgomery)--we still have some folk with no endorsement, and some don't know they could/should...
