Have you ever seen the Aurora Borealis?

It is visible a few times a year up here in Minnesota.
One of the coolest things I've seen was the Aurora while flying home from Iraq in 2008. We flew through Keflavik, Iceland and the colors were unbelievable.

Yes, on a icy clear winter night in Madison, South Dakota. It was breath-taking for a young Mexican kid from the north Central Valley of CA. 

As a North Dakotan I have seen them a few times. Not anywhere near as impressive as they are further north but still always amazing to see and watch.
