Yes, it's beautiful. Not as pretty as Arlington but still one of the nicer military cemeteries I've seen. Thanks for they photo.

I work on Fort Leavenworth and see the cemetery nearly everyday. It is beautifully maintained. I always feel honored and fortunate to have such access.

I heard they will diminish CGSC by 50%.

I heard the same. It wasn't long ago that CGSC was attended by only 50% of year groups and selection for the resident course was a promotion discriminator. This change would simply revert back to the previous policy for resident attendance, while saving the Army a lot of money.

Came across this song today by an Active Duty soldier and Iraq veteran. He is now assigned to the Old Guard, thought it would be a befitting song for your picture and Memorial Day 2016.
