So I saw my first military poser today at Wal-Mart of all places. Had Army ACUs, popped collar, what looked like a white turtleneck and Doc Marten's boots, patrol cap on indoors, no name tapes anywhere, Marine Corps Globe-and-Anchor on his pc, no unit patches and an American flag patch with no stars. I asked him what unit he was in, he responded with being an E-7 petty officer in the Navy.

Annnnnd, go...

I'm curious as to what actions a Spartan Warrior in past history might take towards another Greek claiming to be a Spartan Warrior? LoL

I've seen guys wearing a full set of ACU's with tennis shoes. I think they just dig the uniform. But if he had tabs and ribbons or CIBS and unit patches I might address his validity, some guys just like camo clothes and are clueless to what Stolen valor even is. Now if it was a dress uniform that's a different story.

If somebody wants to wear our uniform I take it as flattering do you want to be like us however when they lie unclaimed achievements service or Valor that they haven't earned in order for monetary gain professional gain or taking a job food or money away from a veteran or active duty then it's an issue but if you want to play Soldier and dressed up in the uniform and tell people you're in I just put you in the same category as reservists

I see people that are all tweaked out of the minds wearing acus in my home town. It pisses me off but there's nothing I can do. Like someone said there's no law against it only when they start wearing medals and trying to look like a real military personnel. Or am I mistaken?

No, I've never had the pleasure in meeting one. But, I'd have to agree with 1SG Rice, "Throat Punch Thursday" rules. Though I wouldn't narrow it down to just one day, it would be "Throat Punch Right Now" rule.
