So I saw my first military poser today at Wal-Mart of all places. Had Army ACUs, popped collar, what looked like a white turtleneck and Doc Marten's boots, patrol cap on indoors, no name tapes anywhere, Marine Corps Globe-and-Anchor on his pc, no unit patches and an American flag patch with no stars. I asked him what unit he was in, he responded with being an E-7 petty officer in the Navy.

Y'all waste your time with this stuff. Now if he's trying to scam benefits that's one thing but just wearing the uniforms is pointless to point out. And if you are going to call someone out on being a military poser learn your terms yourself. It's the Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor.

It's ok checked with the Pentagon, he was a super GSM 30 secret Squirrel commando from Target. His mission was to check out the female bathrooms and report on how many dudes go in them.

So haven't been in the military long enough to see any posers but I see that stuff on social media all the time even get accused from time to time and it's friken astounding because the guy that's accusing me of being a fraud is friken posing..... Some say if those guys want it so bad why don't they just go and join? Well I'll tell you why those guys end up being blue Falcons and by God I hate blue Falcons

I ran into a couple of posers years ago, I'd just graduated from comm school at the stumps and was on my way home for a few days and I stopped into a pub in southern Utah for a few cold ones. I still had on my Deltas and these two guys claimed to be warrant officers in the air force. I didn't realize what they were for several years. It still ticks me off, I wish I'd known then and called them out on it.

I haven't seen anyone personally however, I've seen videos. It disgusts me to see people dressed up like soldiers, airmen, marines, etc but doesn't stop at just dress up. They lie about being affiliated in the service. That's were the line gets drawn. That's when I would say something and maybe even wall to wall counseling.
