So I saw my first military poser today at Wal-Mart of all places. Had Army ACUs, popped collar, what looked like a white turtleneck and Doc Marten's boots, patrol cap on indoors, no name tapes anywhere, Marine Corps Globe-and-Anchor on his pc, no unit patches and an American flag patch with no stars. I asked him what unit he was in, he responded with being an E-7 petty officer in the Navy.

Annnnnd, go...

No Navy CPO refers to themselves as an "E7." That's is like the ultimate insult.

So sad and kinda sick minded only to think I'll bet the obozo admin would say this is OK but let me tell you this it should be illegal it's ignorant and disgusting all my family has served in war time and in combat to pose as a soldier is low only those who served can fix or stop this I see how bad our soldiers are treated it makes me sick to all who served I salute you and may your life be filled with joy

We didn't have this problem during Viet Nam. Even those of us in the service did not wear uniforms out in public.

As soon as we got off the freedom bird we changed into civilian cloths. If we wore uniform we never got home on leave. Some shitbird spit on us or picked a fight. The cops normally arrested us and we spent our leave in jail.

Meh, if I ran into this guy I'd be amused, slightly entertained & then point out that he's being kind of an idiot. Then I'd carry on.
