So I saw my first military poser today at Wal-Mart of all places. Had Army ACUs, popped collar, what looked like a white turtleneck and Doc Marten's boots, patrol cap on indoors, no name tapes anywhere, Marine Corps Globe-and-Anchor on his pc, no unit patches and an American flag patch with no stars. I asked him what unit he was in, he responded with being an E-7 petty officer in the Navy.

Annnnnd, go...

Hey brother's and sisters we defender our courtyard help against a bully. So people can be free that even including the idoits that don't even come close to having an idea about what's up. So if an idiot wants to impersonate a solider buy him tell he is free to do cause real did the work just let him know you know what's up.

About 20 or so years ago when I was a young police officer in Austin, Tx, I got dispatched to a "suspicious person" around 3 a.m. one morning. A guy in BDUs walking up and down the street. I got there and found him and asked him for his name and info. He said he was in the army and was "messed up in the head" over "The War", Desert Storm. I asked him what unit he had been in (I was in 3 Armored "SPEARHEAD!") and my partner had been in the 82nd. (I had just gone overseas when he got to jump in Just Cause). Anyway, the guy tells me he couldn't remember what unit he had been in. I keep pushing him for answers and finally he says, "I was a paperwork weenie in PERSCOM!". I asked, "Which one." He again said he couldn't remember. Finally I get tired of his bulls**t and he confesses that he had never been in the military. But he had everyone in his neighborhood believing he had been a combat soldier and was "messed up" from stuff he had done and saw in "The War." I hate that crap. After a sidewalk to car counseling session I sent him on his way.

I don’t think they have the mental capacity or the balls to enlist. That is why they are so infuriating.

That's actually pretty sad. The guy was probably crazy. I think there's a difference between stolen valor and just being a nut job.
