So I saw my first military poser today at Wal-Mart of all places. Had Army ACUs, popped collar, what looked like a white turtleneck and Doc Marten's boots, patrol cap on indoors, no name tapes anywhere, Marine Corps Globe-and-Anchor on his pc, no unit patches and an American flag patch with no stars. I asked him what unit he was in, he responded with being an E-7 petty officer in the Navy.

Stolen valor is a crime in Texas. I would call the police. This guy is probity metal. A few days in psychological evaluation will do him good.

well being in the military I think that people in the service are pretty messed up with picking on civilans that have mental problems and wearing military clothes that oblivious not a uniform I fell sad for these people and our vets that have the same problem we as soldiers serve these people so they can have the freedom we need to help these people not bully now if this person was really trying to gain for a profit that is a different story this is just me and how I was brought up as a man from my wonderful amazing fathers V/R Airmen Helton

I'm sorry but I see the same type begging by the road intersections claiming to be disabled vets. Then getting into a newer car than I have. If he is mental, get him help, if he is running a con, bust him. I have wore my uniform once sense I retired, for my daughters wedding. Because she asked.

I just think if they are in a complete military uniform and are claiming to be a reserve or active duty military personnel that needs to be addressed yes that's stolen valor but just because some one has let's say ACU pants on and is being extremely crazy mental with problems that's a different story and let's just try to have some understand of what is stolen valor and what is someone with mental health problem we are not a stolen valor police we are all past or present military members we are held to a higher standard we need to have our bearing at all time in the right direction god speed

I ran into one poser who, after speaking with him for a few minutes I realized he was mentally challenged. Please be ready to dial back on your anger if needs be. This person didn't understand at all the implications of what he was doing. So be careful please.

I think they have to have big balls or little brains to think that they can do that and one of us not call them out on it
