So I saw my first military poser today at Wal-Mart of all places. Had Army ACUs, popped collar, what looked like a white turtleneck and Doc Marten's boots, patrol cap on indoors, no name tapes anywhere, Marine Corps Globe-and-Anchor on his pc, no unit patches and an American flag patch with no stars. I asked him what unit he was in, he responded with being an E-7 petty officer in the Navy.

Annnnnd, go...

I have a better idea if he wants to be in the military so bad take his happy ass down to the local recruiting office and make sure he gets in then send his happy ass over to Iran or somewhere like that make sure he gets his ass shot off that's my remedy

Yes,many many times..I usually just let it slide, unless they start blowing their suck hole...As for wearing military clothing as a civilian I have no problem with it. I do almost every day, they're provin clothes useful and comfortable..Here in Idaho they most definitely have many uses..The different insigina ??? I have the option to wear both Army&USMC.So u never know ...Till u talk to them then u just know. What really burns me is when they don't correct it when someone thanks them for their service.. Peace out.

I think it all depends on how old the person is and their mental health. A lot of kids and other people respect and admire the military. Wanting to dress like us and be like us, I have no ill repute's however I do when a person is talking about their service and deployments because they have planned it. when they are obviously all ate up. I have yet to come across this myself personally yet.

I have an issue in a way, in that I am an older guy. I was just a cop but I got tats and stuff. Dad was a command staff Sgt Major back in the day (CmSgt) so I was raised right. I ain't a vet, and I tell folks I am not a vet. Gets weird sometimes.
