So I saw my first military poser today at Wal-Mart of all places. Had Army ACUs, popped collar, what looked like a white turtleneck and Doc Marten's boots, patrol cap on indoors, no name tapes anywhere, Marine Corps Globe-and-Anchor on his pc, no unit patches and an American flag patch with no stars. I asked him what unit he was in, he responded with being an E-7 petty officer in the Navy.

I have not seen military posers as of yet and when i do i will expose them for the frauds they are....both of my brothers served our country one in vietnam the other Iraq and i a dame proud of both of them as well as i am proud of our current serving military personel as i am of our former military personel god bless them all and god bless AMERICA

The only one I've witnessed was when my friend told me a man she met on line had been a SEAL but didn't like to speak of it. I did some "checking" with an ADM I know who actually handled the SEAL records at the time he said he was in......he was never a SEAL.

He .......I cannot say all I want to say.......HE SHOULD WANT TO HIDE HIS FACE!...He should go talk to ALL the Mothers and Father's , and younger siblings that lost someone in the service!....THAT UNIFORM, IS THE FLAG.....IS ..MOST DEFINITELY ONLY EARNED..BY ACTIVE and INACTIVE MILITARY PERSONNEL..Those lost in combat ...being represented by the latter!...I'm pretty upset and can hardly type....THE IMITATION FLAG NEEDS TO BE TORN OFF OF HIS ARM!.. ..Those that do such imitations...were never allowed to join or are panzies.They think the uniforms are ..."COOL" ! I feel what imposers do not know is , these uniforms are to be..! WORN PROPERLY AT ALL TIMES...THEY ARE UNIFORMS THAT REPRESENT... BRING DEATH.or TAKE DEATH , BRING LIFE or TAKE LIFE. Although we as service members DO NOT LIKE ...the actions of individuals like this, we I feel , are always gonna have to deal with people that wish they were or could have been part of the GREATEST FIGHTING FORCE IN THE WORLD....I hope this makes sense!!!...BM3 USS RANGER

Ego. They get to be someone they think is important. Some will do it for the chance to "belong" to some group of people they admire or who they think a majority of people admire and respect. It gives them something they don't have in their life.

I like to look at posers when I see one and get with in a couple of inches from their face and simply say shit bag ! So anyone in shouting distance can hear me and after I have everyone's attention I pick them apart. So everyone knows that they are a fraud.

YES, AT MCDONALDS HE HAD A BALL CAP ON VIETNAM VET, HE SAW THE ONE I HAD ON AND STARTED TELLING ALL HE SEEN AND DONE WHEN HE WAS THERE , SO HE TOLD ME HE HAD PTSD AND ON AND ON THEN HE TOLD ME HE WAS 28 YEARS OLD AND I LOOKED HIM AND TOLD HE WAS YOUNG WHEN HE WENT OVER, BECAUSE IAM 67 YEARS OLD AND I WAS 19 WHEN I WAS THERE, AND THIS KID STARTED TO SAY HE WAS IN IRAC BUT HE HAD THE WRONG BALL CAP IF YOU ARE GOING TO LIE GET YOUR SHIT RIGHT
