It's just sad. Own it. Say, I tried to enlist, but because of this or that I cldn't get it. I wld a lot more respect for you doing that then lieing about it. But If you at least tried, own it. Be proud that you wanted to serve and just cldn't Because of any reason. 97% of the population doesn't even do that.

Sounds delusional . I mean first off Army uniform with EGA that right their sounds odd (not sure however if the regulation would allow it if a person served in the Marines first then later went Army .also not sure why a person would do that but hey )
Secondly if he's an E7 in the navy he'd be a chief petty officer .
